Spiritual healing

The five senses of the human body that is controlled by the mind, are outgoing i.e. they respond or get activated by external stimuli, with the mind interpreting these reactions. Meditation refers to the state, where the senses are drawn inward and the mind concentrates on any single object of desire. (The image of which is formed by the self)

Why is meditation necessary?
The mind has a wandering tendency. It's restless nature can be curbed by meditation. Though the objectives of meditation may be varied, it progresses towards self- realization or analysis (the senses try to look within), which is a steppingstone to the path of Absolute Reality. Meditation involves visualization, concentration, and pranayama (breath control).

What is Meditation Therapy? Meditation Therapy is a bold new approach to finding lasting solutions to our deepest problems and concerns. Combining the power of deep meditation practice with the insights of psychology.

Meditation Therapy will help you to experience healing transformation in powerful and lasting ways. Genuine healing occurs only when we are willing to examine the deepest parts of ourselves and create positive new patterns of responding to life. This video will help you understand the attitudes and environment necessary for deep, lasting healing. Most importantly, you will learn how to transform your mental attitudes and activate your own innate healing power. Clear, accessible, and brief, Meditation Therapy for Health and Healing is divided into different sections.

The dhyeta or mediator can be:
AARTI (the troubled): Adversities and situations can be demanding and stressful and from stress, sprouts negative emotions like fear, anger, avarice (greed), lust etc. These emotions can be conquered focussing on them and dispelling the negative energy giving the mind the reins of will power, faith and the strength to fight and survive.

ARTHARTHI (the desirous): After overcoming troubles, dreams and desires take shape in the ARTHARTHI. He tries to materialize his visions, namely acquiring wealth, property, fame etc.

JNANI (The knowledgeable): Jnani, being a repository of knowledge realizes the purpose of his birth and goes in quest of the Lord (salvation) meditating upon His form. Gradually his Sagun (meaning that which has form) worship diffuses into the Nirgun (formless), when he realizes and experiences the persuasiveness of the Lord in everything and the feeling of the self-being one with the Supreme.
Vedic Meditation
From time immemorial, the Vedas have been a rich source of knowledge about the different aspects of mortal and immortal existence. Vedic meditation prescribes different methods and forms of meditation, derived from the Vedas and the Shastras. These methods are dealt with at the

Material (The Aarti and Artharthi level)
Emotional (The Aarti and the Artharthi) level
Spiritual (The Jnani) level
